Knowledge Is the Gift that Keeps Giving

Marsha EmpringhamTake a moment to think about how much drastically the world has changed since March 2020. Now try to imagine operating in today’s workplace without the knowledge and experiences you gained over the last 18 months. You’d be at a severe disadvantage from your colleagues and likely unable to navigate the complex dynamics in which we live and work. In our ever-changing world, life-long learning is an imperative.

C2HR exists to provide our members with a forum to learn, connect, collaborate and celebrate. In the past year, we’ve provided more opportunities than ever before to build knowledge and your professional network. Given how busy we’ve all been this past year, you may have overlooked some of the resources available to you.  I wanted to take this opportunity to spotlight a few so you can take advantage of all your C2HR membership has to offer.

The HR Knowledge Center is an online treasure-trove of 850+ articles categorized into 27 topics. When you need insight into trends and best practices, the HR Knowledge Center should be your go-to source. New articles and resources are added monthly to ensure the curated collection remains current.

We launched The Exchange and hosted 8 topic-specific networking events that brought HR professionals together in an intimate setting to candidly discuss the challenges they face in today’s fast-paced business world.

We dramatically expanded our webinars to give you access to some of the brightest minds in the areas of future of work, employment law, the hybrid workplace, burnout and mitigating bias in the recruiting process. After a poll of C2HR CON attendees identified that wellness was a top priority, we launched the Focus on Wellness at Work series which featured weekly wellness break videos, webinars on mental health and wellbeing and thought leader articles. The 2021 webinar series is currently available for on-demand viewing, and webinars will continue to be free of members in 2022.

As a year-end gift to members, we are providing on-demand access to all 17 sessions from the 2021 C2HR CON. With topics on everything from DEIJ and Gen Z myths to pay equity, employee engagement and so much more, you’ll want to bookmark this link to view them at your convenience.

In addition to expanding our educational content, C2HR welcomed 500 members in 2021 and reached an all-time membership record of 4,800. We’re thrilled to include you among our vibrant, growing community of human resources professionals, and we look forward to sharing our 2022 programming with you.

Happy New Year!
