Comcast NBCUniversal Honored for Disaster Relief Efforts

When disaster struck several states in 2017, Comcast NBCUniversal’s HR team provided tremendous relief support by establishing a special emergency relief benefit plan, launching a dedicated disaster relief hub and organizing a companywide voluntary support program, Operation Teammate. Two members of the HR community are among the Women in Cable Telecommunications’ (WICT) Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (BMLI) Class of 2018/2019: Sara Dionne, Vice President of HR Strategy & Operations for the Northeast Division of Comcast, and Suzanne Rosenthal, Vice President of Talent Acquisition for Viacom. BMLI is recognized by the industry as the premier leadership development program for executive women in the cable media industry. WICT named Italia Commisso Weinand, EVP of Programming and Human Resources for Mediacom Communications, as its 2018 Woman of the Year.
